1. Information we use
Withmax uses the account identifiers, email, name, and profile image provided through WorkOS to sign you in and display your account. If you participate in Project Ideas, we store your submissions, comments, votes, display name, and timestamps. Your display name and published contributions are visible to other visitors; account identifiers are used internally.
For purchases, we store account and Polar order identifiers, payment and refund amounts, currency, access status, the detected country and pricing segment, and the version and time of your checkout acknowledgments. We use these records to grant access, handle payment updates, and resolve support requests. Download counts are aggregated by project.
2. Payments and location
Polar handles checkout, billing details, payment processing, taxes, and receipts under its own policies. Withmax does not store full payment-card details. Our hosting provider supplies a country inferred from your IP address for regional pricing; the IP address may also be sent to Polar for checkout location and security. Your billing details may be needed by Polar to calculate tax.
3. Cookies and analytics
WorkOS uses essential session cookies to keep you signed in. We use Clics Analytics to understand page visits, referrers, devices, browsers, and countries. Clics describes its standard analytics as cookieless. These analytics are separate from the cookies necessary for account authentication.
4. Service providers and community
WorkOS provides authentication, Convex stores application data and purchase access records, Vercel hosts the website, Cloudflare R2 delivers project archives, Polar processes purchases, and Clics provides website analytics. These providers process information needed to deliver and secure their services and may process it in other countries.
Joining the WhatsApp group is optional and subject to WhatsApp’s policies. In a WhatsApp group, your phone number is visible to other group members, and your profile details may be visible according to your settings. We do not collect a phone number on this website to automatically add you to the group; you choose whether to use the invitation.
5. Retention and your choices
We retain account and access records for as long as needed to operate your account and lifetime access. Payment, consent, and support records may be retained as needed for legal obligations, security, and resolving disputes. Public contributions remain visible until removed. You can delete your own comments using the site controls and contact us about other contributions.
You can request access, correction, or deletion of your information by email. We may need to verify your identity and retain records that are required for legal obligations. Deleting access records or your account may affect our ability to provide your lifetime pass; we will explain the implications when handling your request. You can leave the WhatsApp group at any time.
6. Contact and updates
When you email Withmax, we use your message and contact information to answer you. We may update this policy as the website or its providers change. The date on this page shows the current version.
